Cover My Journal – Dylusions with Sandra

Requiremet List:

March, time to see what we can do with canvas and Dylusions Shimmer Paints and Stencils.
We will create a design using one of the quilt stencils and other small stencils to make a
colourful cover for your art journal. We will sew the joins with cotton thread, but if you
don’t own a sewing machine, we can stamp the joins with ink and then the next class I will
bring a sewing machine to finish off your cover.
Requirement list:
 Preprimed Canvas (Supplied by teacher to each person)
 Dylusions Classic or Creative Journal.
 Dylusions Stencils 2” Quilt Large DYS75332 or the 1 1/5” quilt stencil. Pleases bring
this to class as it will be difficult to share for the whole class.
 Dylusions small stencils of your choice.
 Dylusions Shimmer paints: 4 colours of your choice.
 Dylusions Block Ruler
 Posca Pens in metallic colours to match your paint colours.
 Tim Holtz Blending tool and foam pads at least 3 or 4.
 Messy Mat
 Archival Ink Black
