SHOP FROM HOME VIA FACETIME

After introducing many new measures over the last few weeks to help protect our staff and customers, this week we are introducing more new features and services.
The most exciting of these are our new Shopping Fairies……not to be confused with Fairy Shopping – there will be no fairies available to buy at A Place to Create, just fabulous Fairy helpers who will help you shop via Facetime!!!
To help you keep yourself and your family safe, we are introducing shopping fairies this week who will help you shop via Facetime so you can stay safe at home or work and see the shop in real time, in real life, and buy whatever you want.
The fairies will drop whatever you want in the basket and after you’ve finished shopping, the fairy will go away and add up your total and contact you for payment.
You can do a drive by to pick it up in the car park or we can deliver it to you (within a 20km radius of the shop).

Simply ring the store to set up a time with one of our “shopping fairies”.
Tuesday to Friday 9am – 4pm – Ph: 3851 2200
If you or your family have been compromised, please do what is best for the greater good.
To this end, we have also asked our staff to remain vigilant and remove themselves should they feel they have any concerns.
In the meantime, we will continue trading and considering the daily information provided by our government and health officials.
Our staff will now wear masks when working in the front end of the store and customers are invited to wear their masks also. We will also be making gloves available and ask you to wear these when shopping or use the hand sanitisers provided as soon as entering the store and before leaving.
* The front page of our blog is now being used to show new items arriving in store with pricing so you can make purchases over the phone or via email.
* Facebook is being updated multiple times a day with information about classes and products etc so you can stay informed and not miss out on any goodies.
* Should you need items but cannot come in, please discuss with us alternative arrangements for a drive through pick up or courier / delivery options.
We are confident that given the layout of our store with multiple divided rooms and the size of the shop that we can safely carry on business under current guidelines.
If you have any concerns we have not yet addressed or have any other questions, please call us to discuss them on 3851 2200 or email info@aplacetocreate.com.au

Stay safe, stay healthy and let us know if we can help with any supplies to keep
you crafting through these surreal times.
Regards, Karenina, Sharon, Gayle and the team at A Place to Create.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CRAFT DE-STASH TO KICK OFF 2020

We lost count of how many people came through on Saturday but it was very well supported for which we thank you!

If this was your first de-stash, congratulations – you did an amazing job cleaning out your stuff and packing it up for others to repurpose.
Alternatively if this was your first time shopping, we hope you found some amazing goodies – as you can imagine, there were some very deep boxes, containers and baskets and as they began to empty, we have been able to spread out the goodies even more so you could find things you didn’t see the first time around.
The good news is we still have plenty of items left to make it worthwhile popping in on Tuesday or Wednesday this week as we will be opening the room up for two more days so you can pop back, bring a friend or bring the kids after school for some bargains.

Hope to see you all very soon.
Stay safe, stay healthy and stay strong.

AFTER SCHOOL KIDS CLASSES ARE COMING TO A PLACE TO CREATE

In a new initiative by the new owner this year, we are introducing after school classes every Wednesday and Thursday for children  6 years to 12 years of age.

These 45 minute sessions will be held by a registered blue card holder and children will need a parent or guardian to stay with them during the session – depending on the age and ability of the child, parents may sit and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or tea, wander the shop, or use our lounge area to sit and read or play with other siblings.
Further plans include expanding these classes during the school holidays to make day sessions available also.
If you are interested please register your interest with us via email at
or phone us on
3851 2200.
You can also join our facebook group by clicking here
We hope you are excited as we are about this new program and welcome your feedback.
