Amanda Hartmann brings a whimsical and colourful approach to
scrapbooking and mixed media
and will be joining us at A Place to Create on
Saturday December 2nd for a Colour Blast Fun Day.
Read on to learn more about Amanda and to see some of her fun loving layouts.

I have been scrapbooking for many years, as evidenced by my well-organised large stash and shelves full of albums and piles of layouts! My life is always about the balance and juggle – as I divide time between my gorgeous family (husband and 3 girls), my rewarding work (full time as a Speech Pathologist) and my “me” time (Scrapbooking and Jujitsu). I have worked on a variety of Design Teams, including Colour Blast Australia, as well as Teams for challenge blogs over the years. I have been published in Scrapbooking Memories. I love to use patterned papers, and combining mixed media to create interesting backgrounds.  Embellishment clusters are part of my signature style!

Amanda will be teaching a double page layout where you will create a colourful and fresh background page and spread it across two pages to create a co-ordinating background across your double layout.
In this class, you will play with:
Colour pastes,
Colour sprays,
Shimmer cubes,
Stencils and more.
Choose your colour (pink or blue or shades in between) then create your own embellishment clusters to finish off your layout.
