We look forward to seeing you at our very first retreat for A Place to Create. This event has been designed to be user friendly allowing you to participate in as much or as little as you wish.
We will kick off the retreat with a relaxed Friday night crop where all are welcome. Saturday brings 6 classes in total with the crop starting at 1pm through to midnight. Sunday will have another 4 classes for you to choose from and cropping will start at 9.30am through till 4pm.
You can simply choose the classes you are interested in and book. There is no limit to the number of classes you book as long as you only select one class from each time slot.
This retreat gives you the best of both worlds. Crop to your heart’s content with the opportunity to participate in classes as you desire- you can just pop out of the crop to attend classes as necessary.
If you do not wish to join in the crop sessions you may just come along for classes as you wish.

Please note that the venue is licenced therefore you cannot bring alcohol however you may bring a snack if participating in the late night crop session. Tea, coffee and water will be made available throughout the crops
No meals are included with class bookings but can be booked separately.
Crops may be attended on either day or book for both and save.

Friday night 14th October
Friday night Crop
Join us for a crop Friday night from 6pm till midnight. Access to the room from 6pm, bring the projects you are working on or purchase a layout kit. Bring your tools and equipment and enjoy a relaxed evening with other scrappers.
Have your dinner before you come or you can order dinner from the menu at the Brook to be delivered to your cropping area. Alcohol can be purchased from the bar during the evening.
Venue: Annex room located at the far end of the Tennyson room, easy access through side door from back car park on Crazy Clarks side.
Tea/Coffee, water and nibbles will be available.
Cost: $10 per head.
Crops on Saturday and Sunday:
Crop Session A: Saturday crop is located in the Tennyson Room. Crop starts from 1pm through to midnight and includes dinner – $35 (Please Note: Tennyson room is not available until after 1pm Saturday)
Crop Session B: Sunday crop is also located in the Tennyson Room. Crop starts from 9.30am through to 4pm – includes lunch – $30
Book into both Saturday and Sunday crops for total cost of $60 includes dinner Saturday and lunch Sunday.

You will create a whimsical accordion album in lilac and lime tones while you have the opportunity to reflect on what’s important to you. Christmas Cards. Create a co-ordinated set of 16 Christmas cards using a instruction template, Martha Punches, ribbons, embellishments and more.
This class will get your Christmas cards started in a big way and the bonus is you get to keep the template so you can make more cards.
Materials provided will be presented in a paper storage folder for you to keep.
You will need to bring a ruler with ‘inch’ measurements for this class plus basic tool kit and adhesives. $35

“Flower Fantasy” Shadowbox Frame. This class is all about techniques, layers and creating a stunning framed layout to showcase your favourite photo. Use dies, embossing, alcohol inks, acetate, heat tools and more as you create this flower and butterfly themed masterpiece.
